Equipped to a very high standard and exceptionally well appointed throughout, Villa Madeira offers superb accommodation in a lovely countryside setting only a few kilometres from the historic town of Silves. The villa is in a slightly elevated position with easy access. Villa Madeira has a landscaped garden with a large lawn.

The private courtyard encloses the solar panel heated swimming pool and provides an ideal area for sunbathing and relaxation. The swimming pool at Villa Madeira is approx. 10m x 5m and has graduating steps. Leisure furniture and barbecue are provided and there are ample shaded areas.

Within the spacious interior Villa Madeira has been tastefully furnished to compliment the following accommodation:-

Ground floor:

Fitted kitchen, microwave oven, gas hob, electric oven, dishwasher and washing machine.

Dining area.

Large lounge, satellite TV and CD.

Smaller separate sitting room.

Shower room with washbasin and w.c.

There is no adjoining doorway from the main house to of the 2 ground floor twin bedrooms which are joined to the house but can only be accessed from outside. Their doors open onto the area around the swimming pool. However, there is an extra bed provided upstairs next to the double bedroom.

Upper floor:-

The stairs lead to a double bedroom with shower, w.c. And hand basin en-suite. From here Silves castle can be seen and there are particularly fine countryside views.

There are ceiling fans in the bedrooms and sitting room.

The villa has a telephone.

Household linen and towels are provided including beach towels.

Villa cleaning.

The town of Silves (approx. 3kms.) has retained its historic character. There is a traditional market and the many restaurants add to the charm and atmosphere. Silves is noted for its XII century castle, which is illuminated at night and dominates the hillside.

A TAXI into Silves can be arranged. Initially this is done by the management company in Silves, after which if any further taxis are required, the client is then able to contact the English speaking driver.

A car is recommended.

The resort of Carvoeiro is approx. 15 mins. by car. There are both golf and tennis facilities at Carvoeiro. Many of the coves in this area have spectacular rock formations. A car is essential.

GOLF -The new 18 hole Silves Golf is approximately 8-10 minutes drive.

Dear Mrs. Allen,

This August, we had a fantastic vacation in the Algarve. We are going to that region for several years now, but it has never been that relaxing like it was this summer.

We booked the villa Madeira near Silves and that was a very good choice. A very spatious, well kept villa with a very nice pool and a great garden in the front of the house. Also, the maid and the pool man added to a great vacation because of their presence and well done jobs. The villa is an excellent location for both staying there for a day in the pool and as a starting point for day trips in the southern part of Portugal.

The villa is certainly on our list for our summer vacation of 2010. We’d like to thank you and your colleagues in Portugal for your services!
